Although there are still many unknowns about the future of the coronavirus, it is certain that the pandemic will cause some changes in the tourism sector, mainly in the aviation sector.
We separated 4 changes that should happen in this period that we will enter, called New Normal:
USE OF MASKS:
The government and airlines will require everyone to wear masks at the airport and during the flight, which must be on hand and visible when boarding. Airlines can supply items before boarding, for example, @Americanair (American Airlines) is doing this.
QUICK TEST:
Some companies are already taking a blood test to detect the coronavirus when passengers board the plane, and waiting for the result is about ten minutes. At the same time, @etihadairways is already using self-check-in, customers can check their breathing, heart rate and body temperature.
IMMUNITY PASSPORT:
It would be like an International Vaccine Certificate, but it should take time to make the idea viable. This feature will only be available after the discovery of the coronavirus vaccine. ⠀
GREATER AUTOMATION:
Technology will contribute a lot to this "New normal", either with a greater number of self-check-in machines or with the implementation of more automatic baggage dispatch systems.
Here, we have all the care put into practice. All employees are doing their part. We believe that everything will pass and much will be learned during this period.
